If you’re local to Darfield, you may have heard of us. We’re an award-winning, popular and highly recommended care home in the local community. (The most recommended in Barnsley, in fact.) If you’re considering residential, dementia residential or convalescent care, we’d love to tell you more.
Like all Strong Life Care homes, making our residents feel at home is our first priority. That means getting to know what YOU enjoy. (Activities such as pet therapy, art classes and chair exercise sessions are available, but not compulsory!) You’ll also find us supporting everyday routines such as nipping to the shop for the morning papers or helping out with the gardening or cooking. It’s our job to help you be active, independent, and to live your best life.

Recent refurbishments to part of our home mean we’re proud to offer state-of-the-art facilities alongside our expert care. For those with dementia, there’s a dedicated community cafe and memory-prompting designs throughout our building, too.
