Our Team
At Strong Life Care, people often say we're like one big family - and we couldn't agree more. From our care homes to our head office, that sense of belonging runs through everything we do.
Being like a family means appreciating every person as the unique individual they are. It's about meaningful relationships, person-centred care, and creating spaces where everyone feels valued and supported.
We're proud to have a diverse team that speaks more than 27 languages and represents four continents, reflecting the inclusive communities we serve. This richness of culture and experience strengthens our care, ensuring every resident, family member, colleague, and visitor always feels welcome, respected and at home.
Because at Strong Life Care, everyone has a life worth celebrating.
Ongoing Training
Offering the highest standards of care means staying at the forefront of skills and knowledge training. Every one of our care managers is either a registered nurse or has an NVQ (National Vocational Qualification) at Level 4 in Management & Care. All care assistants have a minimum of NVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care. Everyone is checked with the DBS (Disclosure Barring Service) and completes a thorough induction programme.
Offering regular training and development programmes, including moving and handling, fire training, infection control and food hygiene, is an important part of what we do.
Familiar Faces
We ask our team to care for our residents as they would their own family members. So we look after them in the same way too. Building strong relationships between staff, residents, and families makes such a difference. We’re proud that people love working here. Our longest-serving member of the team has been with us since we opened our very first care home.
When it comes to staff turnover, our rate is just 1.8% (against an industry average of 44%).
